Ranch Dressing

Jump to Recipe

Ranch Dressing. It doesn’t get much better than Ranch Dressing. You can use it as a dip, a dressing, a sandwich spread. It can go on french fries, salad, pizza… even a slice of bread tastes good in ranch dressing.

It’s easy to make. The ingredients are cheap and you control what you are eating.

Lets get started cooking…

This recipe is pretty simple. Ranch dressing is just sour cream, mayonnaise, some type of milk, vinegar, herbs, spices and garlic.

Start by chopping your ingredients. Finely chop 2 tablespoons of dill, 1 tablespoon of parley and 1 teaspoon of chives. Mince 1 clove of garlic.

The rest is pretty simple…. combine all the ingredients together. I like to throw everything in a mason jar and shake to combine. Less Dishes! This ranch will last for 5 days in the refrigerator. However, at my house it only lasts 2!

This dressing is good immediately, however if you let it sit overnight it will be amazing!

If you want your ranch to be thinner for a salad dressing, add more milk or heavy cream. If you want it to be thicker for a dip, add less milk or cream.

Want less calories? Use skim milk and light sour cream. Want less carbs? Use heavy cream. What is great about making your food at home is you control what works for your diet.

Enjoy!
